FEMALE SALE HIGHLIGHTS

A packed ringside saw a brisk sale for females at last night's female sale at Carlisle. The first two lots in the ring set the trade, when they made 10,000gns and 14,000gns respectively for Alan Blackwood , Auldhouseburn.
Judge Robert Cockburn awarded a gimmer from Robert Bennet's Plasucha Flock the Championship and she went on to make 9000gns.
